Our sense of camaraderie runs so deep ... many employees organize their own happy hours, birthday parties and weekend get-togethers. Plus, a fully-stocked game room with a pool table, ping-pong table and pop-a-shot surely doesn't hurt! And like most midwesterners, we take full advantage of our summer months. Our green space becomes home to our annual corn hole tournaments, hot dog eating contests, a charity-driven fun run, and so much more!

Social Committee

The Gradient Social Committee, comprised of employees from different departments throughout the company, works hard to design special events like monthly food days, a holiday party, fun competitions like the annual hotdog eating contest, and impactful community service projects like meal packing.

Time, Talents and Treasures (3T)

Our Time, Talents, and Treasures (3T) team consists of a diverse group of our team members and was created to ensure our employees feel empowered to share their experiences and ideas. The 3T team is dedicated to identifying diverse opportunities that help our employees give their time, talents, and treasures to local organizations and causes.


In that spirit, we also provide employees with volunteer time off “VTO” to participate in community engagement opportunities.

Gradient Gives Back Foundation

Gradient Gives Back Foundation is a Minnesota-based non-profit organization that supports the Gradient Gives Back Community Outreach Program and devotes its resources to assisting Americans. Born in the wake of the 2008 financial crises, the Foundation strives to help American families who are at risk of losing their homes and seeks to unite communities by inspiring Americans for the purpose of charitable giving.

Gradient offers comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage through UMR. The UMR Health and Wellness Plan benefits include a wide range of programs to help you reach your health goals.

Paid Leave:

Work/Life Balance

At Gradient, giving you time away from work to recharge is part of the investment we make in you as an employee. You will accrue a minimum of 160 hours of Paid Time Off each year and receive nine paid holidays. The company also offers paid maternity leave and a flexible work model providing opportunities for telecommuting, remote work and summer hours.

Life and Disability Insurance:

Backup When You Need It

Gradient understands the security that comes with knowing that you and your loved ones will be provided for in the event of injury or death. Gradient offers company-paid long-term disability insurance that covers up to 60% of an employee's salary up to $5,000 per month. Company-paid life insurance offers two times an employee's salary up to $100,000. Supplemental policies are also available for additional security.


Build Your Nest Egg

Saving for retirement is crucial and no one understands this better than Gradient. That is why our employees are eligible for a 401(k). Gradient matches fifty percent of your 401(k) contributions up to the first six percent of each paycheck – that's up to $3,000 per year. We value your service, which is why we offer competitive salaries to all of our employees.

We know that you care. Gradient cares too. That's why we offer eight hours of Volunteer Time Off each year so that you can support a charitable cause that's dear to you, or to participate in civic engagement.
